Individuals and organizations that have a viable product or concept but lack the resources to test it can benefit from NXT Investigations. It’s an objective, third-party testing process that lends scientific objectivity and credibility to new products under consideration for the market.

NXT Investigations

Through NXT Investigations, private sector organizations can contract with NXT and our research partners to empirically test new products, service initiatives and materials in our black box testing facility. Prototypes are built, housed and tested in our 3,000-square-foot research lab in Greenville, South Carolina.

NXT researchers conduct this testing using rigorous research techniques developed in collaboration with research partners.

Testing can occur at multiple levels:

1. simulated with low level of rigor
2. simulated with high level of rigor, and
3. real world scenarios with partner hospitals.

NXT Investigations can be exclusive and proprietary as directed by the industry sponsor. Sponsorship levels for Investigations vary based on the type and scope of research project.

The lab houses control rooms and additional staging areas for research and collaboration among architects, industrial designers, behavioral scientists and others.
